2016 Reflections

As 2016 comes to an end, I again want to give thanks for the ways our Lord and Savior freely continues to provide and bless.  I am thankful for new and past friendships, for the freedom to pursue Christian education, for safety and well-being.  I am comforted by the forgiveness I have in Christ that covers the things I got wrong this past year. I am thankful for divinely appointed circumstances that “just so happened”  to show up in His perfect timing.   I am thankful for His sustaining mercy and grace He provided through the temptations, hardships, and sufferings.  Finally, I am thankful for the way God is working in each student’s life to shape them for His plans to come.  He is bringing all things together to prepare them for His kingdom.

“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;”  Colossians 1:9-10

That is the crux of our ministry here at MCS.  May 2017 be a year that brings us into a more pleasing and fruitful life in the service of our Savior.
